Elevar was part of a collaborative design/build team who worked for Projects Unlimited, Inc. (PUI), completing an executive office expansion, relocation from the existing facility, and renovation of existing facility.

PUI, a high-tech manufacturing company, is a three generation, family-owned business based in Dayton, Ohio. It has a rich history of developing electronic and wiring products.

The new building is designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing building and oriented to take advantage of the natural landscape. A double height lobby with natural daylighting welcomes employees and visitors alike.  The design includes a new executive board room that overlooks the lobby and maintains the thematic connection to nature.

Materials and finishes are forward thinking with a mix of metal panel and brick, to play upon the textural contrast between new and old. The new facade is a play on the existing manufacturing building. The two buildings are connected through a glass connector between existing and new and a choreographed outdoor patio.
