Interior Designer

As a member of the Design team at Elevar Design Group your primary role will be interior design, working with multiple disciplines on projects for one or more of our major markets, seeking creative interior solutions to complex project programs. You will be part of all aspects of the design and construction process including existing conditions assessments, development of design solutions and related contract documents, FF&E specification and bidding, and permitting, and construction administration. Projects will range in size and scope and will require both working with a team of designers, architects, and engineers and working independently. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team of designers, architects, and engineers to coordinate design and deliverables. Team Members at Elevar also contribute internally through continuous improvement cohorts and team member mentorship.

Skills and Qualifications

-Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design
-Minimum 3-5 years of experience
-NCIDQ Certification, or interest in pursuing certification is desired, but not required.
-Experience with projects of varying sizes through all project stages – from study/programming to post-occupancy
-Ability to balance multiple projects and schedules simultaneously
-Experience with Healthcare and/or Corporate Workplace design and project delivery is preferred but not required
-Experience in furniture specification, bidding and installation is preferred but not required
-Fluent in Revit. AutoCAD fluency is desired but not required. Lumion or other rendering software knowledge is desired but not required.
